When I first created Franco and the Green Light Fairy with the wonderful, and very sadly missed, Johanna Bruyer, we were over the moon to have the book live on Amazon. This was an enormous achievement for us both and one that we were hugely proud of.
With thanks to Amazon's simple-to-follow self-publishing platform (KDP) Franco's story was live, although neither of us realised the criteria and requirements bookshops look for. As a result, although with great reviews and many purchases around the world that are incredibly humbling, Franco and the Green Light Fairy has been confined to Amazon... until now!
When Johanna sadly passed, I vowed the book we created would not change. The story, illustrations, and format are the innocent glory of a first-time book.
However, I am delighted to confirm that Franco's story has been re-released and is now live under the publisher Three Geese and a Gander. Not only live on Amazon but soon to be online worldwide, with access to over 40,000 independent and chain bookstores, libraries, and distributors.
Johanna has been with me throughout this process and always will be. She set me on a journey that has reshaped my life over the past two years and I am forever grateful to her.
Sometimes, you have to trust the road you're on. Every day is a learning day.
An opportunity to grow, expand knowledge, enjoy life, or accept and learn from mistakes. You never know what the future has in store, and although you might not see the end of the road, trust every step will take you just where you are meant to be.
Thank you, Johanna, for being part of my journey and for always being with me. Your memory will live on in the incredible illustrations you created for two of my books.
